Most foot surgical procedures and short term curative podiatric treatments are covered for reimbursement by the majority of health insurance providers.

Depending on the terms of your insurance policy you may be required to pay an excess on any treatment costs and we would strongly recommend that you consult your individual insurance policy to familiarise yourself with any personal financial liability before commencing treatment with us. You will be liable for any short fall in payments made by your health insurance provider.

You will require a referral letter from your GP or other recognised specialist to use your health insurance; we would advise you to contact your health insurance provider before your first consultation to obtain a pre-authorization number. Some health insurance providers will require a claim form to be completed by the consultant.

Referrals should be made to Mr John Bramall at either, the Cobham Clinic, Luton and Dunstable Hospital or SPIRE Harpenden Hospital; when requesting a pre-authorisation number from your insurance company, you must give Mr John Bramall’s name as the consultant to whom you have been referred.
